Flipping through stations I caught sight of a horse in a round pen! I was glued to the set...a horsey show! Turns out it was a show on Clinton Anderson where 3 minutes of training in a round pen alternated with 3 minutes of his ghastly face hawking some product.
His round pen techniques seemed a bit more frantic than cool calm Dennis Brouse, (whose show I loved) and had similar ideas. Anderson is so alpha, he was snarking the client any chance he got! Once he said to the client, "What are doing, you look like an idiot." I said to myself, "OK, you're done." and switched the channel.
I read with interest his column on training in the horse magazine I subscribe to until I read some non sensical phrase like, "..he really wants out of there fast..". I was finished reading Clinton Anderson and decided right then not to renew my subscription. Obviously the editors were asleep at the helm.
Am I the only one with a dislike of this man?
